We license content from rights holders, and we take unauthorized use seriously in both directions. If something of yours is on our platform without permission, we want to hear about it and we will act.

Our position

Every series we distribute is licensed under a written agreement, and we ask every licensor for documentation showing they control the rights they are granting us. If that documentation turns out to be wrong, the title comes down while we sort it out. We would rather lose a title than distribute someone else's work without authority.

Reporting infringement

If you believe your copyrighted work is being used without authorization, send a written notice to our designated agent at copyright@addictivedramas.com containing:

Your physical or electronic signature.
Identification of the copyrighted work you claim has been infringed.
Identification of the material you claim is infringing, with enough detail for us to locate it, such as series title, episode number and a link.
Your name, address, telephone number and email address.
A statement that you have a good faith belief the use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
A statement, made under penalty of perjury, that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on their behalf.

What we do with it

We review every complete notice promptly, remove or disable access to material we determine is likely infringing, and notify the licensor who supplied it. Where a licensor supplied material they did not have the right to supply, we treat that as a material breach of their agreement with us.

Counter-notification

If you believe material was removed by mistake or misidentification, you may send a counter-notice to the same address including your signature, identification of the removed material and where it appeared, a statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good faith belief it was removed as a result of mistake or misidentification, your contact information, and your consent to the jurisdiction of the federal court for your district, or for the Southern District of Ohio if you are outside the United States.

Repeat infringers

We terminate the accounts and agreements of repeat infringers in appropriate circumstances.

False claims

Knowingly misrepresenting that material is infringing, or that it was removed by mistake, can carry liability for damages under Section 512(f) of the Digital Millennium Copyright Act. Please be sure before you file.
